:hello i was just given an atwater-kent 55c chassis with out tubes. does any one happen to have the tube line -up i cant find cross reference for tubes listed on chassis or schematic. thanks for info
My 55 has small metal plates riveted to the chassis which ID the specific tubes and point to what socket they go in. Doug is correct about the 45's...I hate to even fire up any of the radios I have that use them for fear of blowing one out. It's too bad there isn't a low-cost substitute.
Good luck,
Jeff
NOS or used 45s will require a second mortgage on your house!

Manuel is the one needing tubes. Fortunately I got all NOS tubes for my AK-55 many years ago. Also try www.tubeworld.com on the net. They often have cheaper used tubes that test very good. I've never gotten a bad tube from them like other vendors who don't test.
