hello i recently purchased a philco radio with fm band and it has a fm1000 tube . the fm does not work and i cant find this tube anywere, does any one know of any substitutions for the fm1000 tube. thank you

For the tube, go to www.tubesandmore.com and go to tubes and accessories on the left hand side. Click on it. Then scroll down the list that comes up, to A22D-ZZ1040 (this is a range of tube numbers). Click on it. Now go to page 20 (listed at the bottom of the page by clicking on Next 10 Pages). Your tube is listed here as shown below:
