Zenith model 52
4/8/2005 11:29:24 PMFloyd Holland
Hi,

I have an old Zenith model 52 with the automatic tuner.
This old radio belonged to my grandfather.
The cabinet is in beautiful shape, but the "works" are on a shelf in the barn.
I want to get the old radio working again.

Can you help me?

What exactly do you need? Assembly instructions, complete overhaul, advice, schematics?

If you need help, state how much electronics experience you have (tube type). That way everyone can tell what kind of help you need--whether we should write paragraphs or just a few simple sentences (I'm good at writing paragraphs). Books and parts are available at www.tubesandmore.com, as well as other places. eBay is great for tubes and other parts, though tubes can be a little more expensive. eBay allows you to pick brands and styles, though. Normally when you order tubes from sources like that listed above, they simply send you a tube; brand, envelope (various glass styles, metal), etc. at their choosing. Sometimes the above source allows you to pick brands.
