You may be able to repair your old one. Chemicals like MEK can soften the rubber part. You may be able to find an "O" ring to replace the outside rubber part. Hardware stores sell a rubberized material for coating handles of tools. I have seen that suggested as a coating for idler wheels.
AES lists, Premium Parts, 516-536-5000, as a place that repairs idler wheels. See what they suggest. $45.00 seems too high.
