It is a Philco, Transitone, plastic table top, single AM band.
The tube lineup is 50L6, 35Z5, 12BA6, 7A8, 14B6.
Thanks,
Gary
Gary-
From about 1937 through the early 1950's Philco numbered their model numbers with the first two digits being the last two of the date of manufacture. For example I have a Philco model 46-420 bakelite AM tabletop radio. Therefore the 46 means it was manufactured in 1946! I have a definite feeling yours is post WWII probably late 40's or early 50's. Anyway hope this helps Gary.

Thanks for the information.
I was able to find a couple of models that are very very close, but could not find the cabinet style.
Inside the radio there is a label, which I believe is the cabinet part number, which is 10796.
I believe this is a Canadian made radio. The two model numbers that I have been able to locate were 50-520 and the 51-530, but they don't list the cabinet style.
I'm sure I will be able to get it working from this information BUT, being a bit of a perfectionist, I will not rest until I find the exact model.
Thanks again,
Gary
