Stromberg-Carlson 410-H re-stringing update

Just a quick update on my dial string issue. I have been successful re-stringing the dial string on this radio. Thomas, I followed your instructions and it was a snap! I used J.P. Coats crochet nylon cord color black no.19 article A70. It works just like new! Thanks for all your help. Now on to the case refinishing!

I got it from the sewing dept. at WalMart.

Another thing that works fairly well is thick black nylon fishing line of the woven no-stretch variety. It looks almost like dial cord.
