Probably a different version on 56X. 56X is walnut plastic, 56X2, ivory plastic, 56X3 two tone wood, and there are others.

:Can anybody tell me what model this is? The sticker on the bottom with the model number is mostly missing. It looks like an RCA 56X, but the dial goes up to 1700 and the dial glass has "Police" above the 1700. The right hand knob has two positions. The 56X pictures I have seen show a dial glass that goes from 55 to 1600.
