The small value mica caps are often associated with tuned circuits. It's best not to replace these caps unless they are known to be bad. If you do replace them use dipped silver mica of the same value. If you use ceramic or caps of other values you may have alignment and drift problems.

: Please bail me out one more time. Having trouble maatching mica cap. What is best technology for rpleacing them. Notice they are prevelent around tnr and coils, was this bcause of vallues that were haard to acheive with electos or is the some accuracy or technical reason - temp stability etc. most do not appear to hav voltage range. 400-650v Ok for replacement?
