Sony TC-530 Reel to Reel

I happened across this device, and am in need of a
power cord for it. It requires a cord with two normal
sized non-grounded non-polarized plugs, one male, the
other end female. If the female end has multiple plugs,
it won't fit (The power supply has a power socket
similar to all PC power supply sockets, except the
prongs are 2 and ungrounded). Any other information,
such as manuals, date of manufacture, etc, would be
appreciated :) So far I've had no luck finding such a
plug.

As I recall, that was a late sixties/early seventies model. That cord plug was proprietary to Sony too.

Best bet is it "hardwire" a cord into it. A decent machine, but not their top of the line.

A.G.Tannenbaum is your best bet on a manual. There are a few of them around still, so you might also encounter one at a Ham fest, or flea market.
