I have purchased the above model GE radio. I am a member and membership director of the New Mexico Radio Collectors Club in Albuquerque. We had a BBQ at one of our members homes earlier this month. At the auction I got it for only three dollars! Naturally when I got it home it worked perfect. Since it has parts and subminiature tube sockets on a pc board I suspect it's probably early 1960's (?). Any one know an approximate date of manufacture? It has dual speakers an has awesome audio.

Thanks very much for your rapid response. You are absolutely right! It does say "Musaphonic" on the front. 1961 fits perfect into this scheme.
