I am learning how to work on radios and thought
I'd try this simple one first. Also, any help in
pointing me to a good book on reading schematics
would be appreciated.

Hi Jerry

The GE model is listed in Sam's Photofact #527, too new for Rider. You should be able to get this from your local library or Sam's can be reached at 800-428-7267.

You should be able to get some basic books on radio from your local library. The Radio Amateur Handbook has the symbols and some information on components. Others may know of specific books.
