Hi All , I aquired a Zenith tombstone model zenith which needs alot of work , but have no clue to what model it is, the chassis tag number I typed into the oricle site to ID it, but it says should be a 12 tube model??? this is only a 6 tube chassis, I looked around at various models on the NA resource site but no luck the closest I found was a 6s256, but the tube line up shows a 6f5 this radio line up is 5y3, 6a8, 6f6, 6h6, and 2- 6f7 tubes the chassis says n-133789
can anyone ID this model?
Thanks

Hi Elton

After seeing Brad's responce looked up your serial number, N133789. It crosses over to chassis 5621 which can't be right. This is a battery operated radio with 19, 2-15, 6A7, 75 & 76 tubes.

Does it look like someone rewired your radio? Was a power transformer added? Are tube sockets mounted with screws instead of rivets?

Hi all I found it it, shown as a model 6s26 or 6s52
yes the tube sockets are marked for these tubes, I just can't figure out why the serial number is so far off? it is riveted to the chassis!! but anyway the info I found even the diagram of the top of the chassis matches perfectly
go figure???

Hi Elton

Here is a schematic.

Looks like those 6F7's should be 6K7's. That makes sense.
