I just acquired a Lear ADF-12E aircraft radio.
It has 4 tubes in it:
VT1: 12BA6
VT2: 12AU7
VT3: 12BA6
VT4: 12BF6
It tunes 190 kHz thru 1750 kHz.
I would like to use it for DX’ing NDB’s and maybe listening to AM BCB… just because!
Would anyone happen to know where I could get any information on this puppy?
It is in pretty good shape too!
The Model # is: 2303A
The Schematic # is: 707944 J
If anyone can help, that would be great. I an currently cruising the Internet, but no real luck yet.

There is a maintenance manual for the ADF-12E listed at:

I never worked on Lear, but I am familiar with ADFs. I will help if I can. Hook the sense antenna up to a long wire, you can have lots of fun DXing at night. Some NDBs give weather.
