Hey gang, what would the settings be to test a 6DL5 on a heathkit tc-2? Or for that much, is there a newer chart somewhere that would include this tube?

My TC-2 roll chart has:
6DL5* 3 6.3 23 (AG)EF BD
The D is bold print. Follow instructions on your chart for the * and you should be good to go.

O.K., I'm gonna try very hard not to sound like a complete idiot here, but I fear the worst will happen. I don't have a copy of the manual, but i understand the majority of how to use the tc-2. However, I feel that now might be a good time to ask..."Just what exactly does the * mean when testing a tube"

Go here and download the manual before you ruin your tube or the tester, http://bama.sbc.edu/

Yes get the manual. But I'm not sure the manual explains the * next to the tube number. I'm surprised Chad your roll chart doesn't have the notation for the entry. Here's what mine says:
*Special short test for tubes with internal connections. A good tube will not show short when the levers shown in parenthesis are moved simultaneously.

No, the roll chart on mine says nothing about the "*". And you are right, neither does the manual, or at least the portion that is available for download. But I really appreciate the reply.
