Zenith G844

My grandmother gave me this radio. I use to listen to it as a child. It needs some electronic repairs. I need hope finding someone who can work on this type of radios. I live in North Carolina.

Can anybody help me?

I wish I could help you, but I have no idea how to fix these things. But perhaps you can help me, I just purchased a G844 at a yard sale, not in working order. Do you know what the center knob is for?

Well, you guys are at the right place to get advice on how to fix a radio, a quick peek at the schematic tells me that this in no oddball design, and so it should not be too hairy to get working again,I'll study the schematic a little more, and then we can get to work.

Vell, I tell you vat, I chust don’t know if DAWN EARLEY is still hanging around since the year 2004 Anno Domini, Eric, but, if center is meaning LOWER center, just under the ZEE_NITH logo trim piece, that would be the knob for the tone control for the set.
