Good service and good prices.
:I need a 7b7 tube to fix a radio and I can't locate one, My subtitute manual says a 7t7 or a 7aj7 will work. They are both available and cheap, would I have any problems using either one as a sub? would one be better than the other?
These tubes may not be interchangeable in your radio?
A 7B7 has 150 ma filament current. If this tube is used in an AC/DC radio 7T7 and 7AJ7 won't work. Their filaments draw 300 ma. These tubes won't light in a series wired filament radio.
If not sure about the type, listing tubes will identify an AC/DC radio.
There are plenty of interchangeable loctal tubes, tubes starting with "7".
If you don't find a tube send me your address.
