I love the piece, and to me...it's beautiful. Does anyone out there know anything about this radio? Or where I might find schematics?
-Eric
Sears 7164 is in Sam's Photofact #849-3. This would make your radio a 1966 model. Too new to be in Rider or on nostalgiaair.
Check with you local library. They usually have, or can get, Sam's information. You can also buy the information from Sam's by calling 800-428-7267.

:Hi all,
:I'm new to your group AND the new owner of a Silvertone model 7164 (console). I having a huge amount of trouble finding schematics and/or information on it. Judging from replies and help that I received thus far...the "almost like"s and "nearly the same as"s haven't panned out to be true. I'm guessing this model was a hum-drum slow seller that never really made it big-time.
