Hi,
This is a radio that I'm trying to restore. Is a piece I've listened when I was a child. But today is not functining. After consult the scheme on this web, it is not corresponding with the real apparience. There is a 4 mF condenser not visible in my radio, but there is a 32 mF one in it not shown in the scheme, also the pilot conexions are not as indicated and there is a winded etrasformer beside the speaker with no clear corresponding in the scheme. Please Can somebody provide me some wide explanation about this exciting model?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ramon

Differences in capacitor values was caused by past replacement. Exact value isn't critical. Larger values filter out hum better but may cause a rectifier tube to draw excessive current? I would use 10 mfd @ 160 volts. 32 mfd is large right off a 25Z5 cathode. Service people often used what was available.

An output transformer is necessary between audio output tube and speaker. It's shown as part of the speaker.

Your lamp is connected to a resistance on the ballast tube. If a person replaced the ballast they may have need to connect it differently?
