what interstage transformer goes in a Crosley 124
6/27/2004 3:40:52 PMDave Froehlich
Hello All,
I am revisiting my Crosley 124 that I haven't looked at in about 7 years. I had replaced all the paper and filter capacitors but then the interstage transformer wasn't working. I remember I could make it work briefly by discharging a capacitor into it. Anyway I need to know what transformer to replace it with. Give me a Hammond part number or catalog number from AES please.

Thanks,

Dave...

Hi Dave

If you are talking about the audio interstage transformer, T9, AES P-T156 will work.

What is open on your original tranformer? If primary, bypass the winding with a 22K and connect plate of your #27 to grid #1 of either #47 with a .1 mfd cap. This will get the radio working until transformer is replaced.
