Rogers Majestic HELP!
11/13/1999 9:36:13 AMJim Helvin
I found a Rogers Majestic #7M632 and need help in ID and a photo of this radio. It is a large tabletop or possibly console radio with the distinctive Rogers brass band switch. Any info would be of great value!

I cannot help with a photo but I can probably supply a schematic and date if required. Rogers Majestic and De Forest Crosley used the same chassis but in various models of sets. Your number is a valid chassis number but Radio College of Canada did not catalogue all of the radios by chassis number.

What you need to do is look at the back of the set and inside for another number (sometimes a name). It is usually just rubber stamped on the wood. It would be a number such as 13/71 etc. Failing that a tube listing for a page by page search would help.

A schematic if found will be emailed.

To Amanda: shop on ebay or even here for a tube book. RCA, Sylvania or whatevere. Each shows the pins, location, and the data tells about the use for each tube.

Amanda:
There is a section right at the top of this home page called "Tubes", which is not exactly like a complete manual, but contains a lot of information. Why don't you try there? Then, if you have a question, we will have a place to compare the same notes.
