Hi Sean,
Dont you have a parts list for it?? If all you have is the Nostalgia Air schematic, you may not have, witch 90 do you have, and Ill send you a PHILCO schematic with the parts list. If you dont want to do that, just look on the side of the block and get the number off it, and go to my web site and the PHILCO Bakelite bulletin will tell you the values and were to put them in the bakelite housings. If your talking about the paper ones there marked.
On the capacitor box, just fellow the schematic
You might be able to use Ron's site to determine which verson Philco 90? He has schematics with parts values for three types.

::Hello, I have recapped almost everything in the 90, but the very small caps and the multi cap metal square block caps(with color coded wires) As usuall, my block caps dont have any of their color left. Is there another way to tell which cap value goes to which cap # in the schematic? I thought I would be crafty and order a canadian schematic to see if it would tell me since my 90 is canadian. NO luck, its exactly the same or appears that way! I guess philco didnt figure these radios would last that long so they didnt put values on the schematic. My cap wires all look black. I think I might put the replacement caps outside the blocks. That way when I am 90, I will know what the values are!!, for the next recap job

I must be missing something? Ron put the actual value by each part in the schematics. Not sure what else you are looking for? Send Ron an email if there are questions.

:Hello, I know what the values are, but dont know which value goes to the appropriate cap in the schematic. All philco does is give each cap a number. So if there are 2 number 30's in the schematic, which one is the .25uf, and which is the 1uf. If all I have to go by is the wires that once showed color, then I am unable to tell. I do see the wires, but with out knowing which wire is the .25 and which wire is the 1uf, I am stuck, only Idea I have is to use my cap checker part of my dvm to test it. Same goes for the other multi block cap, wires are all black coming out of it too. And yes thanks for the tip to rons site, but his schematics dont actually come out and label the caps either, other than the component numbering system. They should have used subletters when they did that, like 30a is .25, and 30b is 1uf.

:Hello, thanks norm, I see the schematic with all of the values on it. I was wondering why everyone said just follow the schematic...lol...I was looking on the wrong site. I finally saw rons schematic with all the values on it. OK now for the tolerance question. I see the .25uf caps(#24), the 1.0uf cap(#30), and the .25uf cap(#30), and the .1uf cap(#30). Since all of these are bypass caps, can I put a larger value in, since I dont have the actual values on hand?(as long as I dont go over double the original value....rule)

If I remember right, it was an 1.0 a 0.25 and a 0.01
They make 0.25's and an 0.01 and use the 4.7 if you don't want to get a
2.2, which they make, but remember there 2.2 and an 4.7 are Electrolytic capacitor
and they have + and a - side to them !! go a head
and use the 0.22 for the 0.25
