There is no 37-630 on the Philco page

Hello All,
The Philco 37-630 is missing from the Philco page. It used to be there. Where did it go?

Hi Dave

Try Philco 630..

http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Resources/811/M0013811.htm

It should be the same circuit as 37-630 but made in 1936 instead of 1937.

Norm,
This:
http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Resources/811/M0013811.htm

is the wrong schematic. The correct schematic is on Philco pages 7-57 to 7-60, found elsewhere on the internet. I wonder why it was pulled from Nostalgia Air?

Thanks,

Dave...

Dave

You have a good one! I couldn't even find it by going to 37-623, Rider 7-56 and advancing the number. Send an email to Richard@nostalgiaair.org .

If you don't have all the pages I can send them.

Norm

Hi Dave,
I dont believe it was ever there. Have E/Mailed you the schematics and changes for the 37-630 code 121-122, if you have a code 125-126, these are not right, I have them for the code 125-126 also.
Note: do not try to adjust the RF Compensators, other wise you will need another Vernier drive adjustable capacitor to do it, read the alignment instructions first, as the 37-630 is detuning of the oscillator circuit

Hi,
Can you E-mail to me the schematic for the Philco 37-630?
Thanks,
Tim Perri

Tim,
This is a very old message. I haven't looked at a 37-630 in a very long time. What volume is it supposed to be in? I don't remember if I found it or not but I do remember that that radio had a strange problem with one if its IF transformers. It seemed to be perfect, it wasn't open but it didn't work. I replaced it with another from another chassis and it worked fine. I'm pretty sure that this is the radio that had the problem. Were you asking me or The Philco Restorer for a copy of the service data? I think someone suggested to look for a model 630 without the 37. See if the Philco Model 630 is the same thing.

Tim,
I remember now. The correct Riders pages are here:

http://oldtech.net/Philco.html

on this page.

I hope that this helps,
