Philco 90...canadian...?

Hello, I have a canadian philco 90 that has the license on the tube shield that says its licensed in canada. Are these worth the same as their american counterparts? It has the one 47 output tube. The wood is in great shape. So is the chassis, no rust or corrosion.

Hello, not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I know there is somebody out there that has a collectors guide to antique radios and was just curious about how much this radio was worth assuming it is the same as the american model 90.....it seems to be, ..just licensed in canada..........definitely keeping this radio

Hi Sean

Canadian radios are not shown in Collectors Guide to Antique Radios, Vol #4 but here is the US value for Model 90: Cathedral $450-$500, Console $125-$150. Hope you have the cathedral.

Hello, yes I do have the cathredral....I have always wanted one and finally got one....seems to be exactly like its american counterpart.........the case is beautifully restored, the only thing it needs is a recap(which I dont mind that). It does play, but it had the usuall "solder a cap on top of the bakelite cap job" done to it, and the replacement caps are still paper so even that was done quite a while ago

Hello, I do have a 90 question as to originality. Did model 90's come with labes above the knobs? Mine has on-off, volume, tone,....I dont recall seeing labels on any I have seen.
