Okay, my friend was throwing out old speakers and stuff and this stereo was in with it, a Panasonic RE-7700 AM/FM Stereo. I cant find any information on this thing and it seems pretty rare. does anybody have any info about it?

I don't think you have anything rare. You got a 1970 item. Get a copy of SAMS Photofact Modular Hi-Fi series MHF-5 for schematic and parts data if you need.
