Philco radios
8/12/1997 9:45:11 PMJohn Bradick
Hi,

I've just started out with two radios.

First is a Philco 41-290. This is a SW console
with 10 tubes. Tubes are XXL,7B7, 7A6, 7C6, 41,
84, and 37.

Next is a Philco 46-350, roll top portable. It has
the usual 1R5, 1U4 etc.

Does anyone know about these guys?

Thanks,

John Bradick

: Hi,

I inherited a Philco console radio from my grandparents, it is a model 111 Superheterdyne. I very badly want to restore this and have it in great working order. I am in need of a new speaker (model H) and speaker grill cloth. I also would love any info on proper restoration of the cabinet. Is this cabinet a veneer or can it be lightly sanded and re-stained?
Any help would be very greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Darin Roush

Hi Eric,
I'm not a radio collector but recently found, what I think may be rare. I collect classic mustang memorabilia and found a 1966 Mustang fastback radio. I'ts 1/25 scale and gold in color.I'ts stamped Philco Corp and Ford Motor Co. model #P-22.It runs on a single 9-volt battery and has 2 knobs on the bottom, AM only of course. If you or anyone else knows anything about this I would appreciate any info.
