I have a Jackson model 648S tube tester that works like a champ. However, the person who gave it to me must have kept it in a dark wet basement and the vinyl clad wooden case is mildewed, rotting away and smells absolutely awful. Does anyone have a Jackson 648S tester that they are parting out? I don't care if it works, I just need the case. Please help.

I've got one too that I'm willing to sell the whole thing, only problem I have no idea of value. Do you have an offer?

Hello David, sorry I can't help with the case for the 648S. I am looking for more updated test data or a newer roll chart. My 648S has a socket for nuvistors (6CW4) for instance, but nowhere do I have any test data. Before I make too many more inquiries, I'll check the last dated supplement. Good luck on yours, I think they are a pretty good item. I've been an amateur radio op since 1958 (K0SFH).

I have as well an the case fell apart too, I build a new one out of plywood and stained it , and it does not look to bad... What I wish I could find for mine is pre ww2 tube data chart as that seems to be all I work on.
