Can anyone help? I have been unable, so far at least, to find schematics for the following radios:

Phillips, Type 725
Phillips B4C87A
Admiral Chassis 6C2X

Hi Gary

Admiral 6C2 is in Sam's Photofact #252-3, a 1954 radio. Not sure what the X stands for? You might be able to get this through your local library. Sam's sells the information by calling 800-428-7267.

Might be better to ask about Philips on the UK forum. Even though not made there they have more information for European radios.

Hi Gary,

I have emailed a schematic for the Philips 725. Since it was in RCC it was probably made in Canada.I could not find anything on the B4C87A, perhaps it is from Europe.

:Philips b4c87a was made in Toronto. It was also commercialized as Rogers-Majestic RG-5050A. It is a 7 tube, superheterodyne AM/FM/SW radio. the tubes are 6AQ8, 6AJ8, 6BQ5, 6BY7, 6AK8, 6V4, 6FG6.

I have just bought a Rogers Majestic RG- 5050A for restoration. The dial cord/wire is broken and it needs recapping. Do you happen to have a schematic or stringing diagram. Hi Ed, I ran into your ad and am wondering if it would be possible for you to e-mail me a schematic for the Philips, Type 725. Would you know how much they are worth, very nice condition but can only get static out of it. Carole in Ontario, Canada:

:Gary Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the model & the chassis on ADMIRAL. I've had that problem before. Look under sams. Use both the model & chassis sections. With a 6xxxx number that tells me it is a post war set.RAYMOND
