Philco Phonograph/Radio Parts

I am looking for a replacement motor for my Philco Phonograph/Radio phonograph player. I takes a very long time to get up to playing speed, and then makes a lot of noise that is picked up by the playing arm.

The style of the Phonograph/Radio is:
Philco 48-1264 Console

Please advise if you can offer any assistance.

Thanks,

Hi John

Might be able to clean up dried grease on your original motor? Be sure the idler wheel doesn't have flat spots. Usually these things can be made to work. Replacement parts for a 1948 Philco would be old and may have the same problems.
