Hi Folks,
I need to know if it is o.k. to use a 22 ohm 1/2 watt resistor to replace a 22 ohm 1/4 watt resistor called for on the schematics. It comes from the rectifier tube 35Z5GT/G
Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam

It's safe using a higher wattage resistor to replace a lower one. Being around a 35Z5 this resistor may act somewhat like a fuse. If voltage is shorted the resistor burns. Replace electrolytic filter caps if you haven't already.
