General electric 201

I note that on the schematic it shows two eletrolytic capacitors (parts c21a and c21b). But the filter condenser I removed listed caps as 50 and 30.
Question: Which do I follow to replace caps?
Also, what would happen if the caps were significantly under the 50 and 50 rating?
Would the radio still play?
Thanks,

Hi Buddy,
The filter condenser contains two electrolytic capacitors in one housing. It has one lead wire for the 50uF, a second lead wire for the 30 uF, and a common.

Both values can be replaced by a 47uF and a 33uF without any problems. Just make sure the voltage rating for the new capacitors is the equal to or higher than the original condenser. Also, don't forget to observe polarity when installing the new capacitors.
