I can't find any listing for a Sylvania model 1104. Can you give any further info on this one?

:I have an Admiral model 7T15-UL and a Sylvania model 1104. can someone tell me the age of these radios?

:Thanks,

Hi Sam,
:Your Admiral 7T15 is covered in Riders Vol. 17-11 and in SAMS Photofact 30-1. Both these were issued in 1947, so yours probably dates from 1946 or early 1947.

Other Sylvania radios each side of that model number were made in 1957. Tubes would probably be 35W4, 50C5, 12BE6, 12BA6 & 12AT6 or 12AV6.

:Thanks for the follow up info on the Admiral. The Sylvania is a very plain plastic or bakelite, almost black. The only controls are the on-off sw and dial knob which is mounted to the side and connects directly to the tuning cap.
:Measurements are approx 6"H x 8"W x 5" D
:Thanks Again,
:Sam
