Mainly, I'm writing to ask about one specific part that is obviously bad.
> The model of radio is: Silvertone Chassis 101.527, model 6135.
> It has a special, huge, electrolytic multi-capacitor in it...the likes I've never seen before. It's a Solar brand, with the only major markings being: 1012018869 and H 8. This thing is 1.5" X 3.5", with at least 2 sections, maybe 3...seems to be a red wire, yellow wire, black wire (common ground) and possibly a green or blue wire (that could be black), but it is clipped about 1 inch from the cap and not hooked to anything.
> This cap is blown (looks like someone shot it from the inside out). I know this isn't uncommon for old caps...but do you have any idea what the values of the different sections of this cap are?
> This bit of info would be greatly appreciated.
> There are other caps that will be replaced too, but their values were obvious, and were common sizes (I've seen the exact ones in guitar amps).

Hi Bart

Schematic is available here:

http://ww3.nostalgiaair.org/schematics/SRC/_SRC_10-81.gif

Other pages are available by changing 10-81 to 10-80 & 10-79.

There are three electrolytic filter caps. C22 = 16 mfd @ 150 volts, C23 = 32 mfd @ 175 volts, C24 = 8 @ 25 volts. I would make C23 22 mfd @ 250 volts or more, C23 33 mfd @ 250 or more and C24 10 mfd @ 25 volts.
