Anyone know the year of manufacture???????
Has any one worked on one of these any tips??????????
Change the filter caps. They dry out over time causing hum. Your radio was made in 1933. Information can be found here on nostalgiaair.

:I picked up a Philco Model 16 (125/126) at a flea market on Sunday paid $18.00. This is a BIG radio eleven tubes. Plugged it in and brought the volatage up slow and got a lot of humming, looks like another project. The cabinet is not bad a lot of loose veneer but fixable.

Thanks for the information, Started working on it the electro caps had been replaced long ago, so I replaced them. Then I pulled the first cap and all it has on it is a part number 30-4020 P, no MFD information.
I down loaded the schematic but can't read it too blurry.
Is there any where I can get cross the part to the MFD.
Thanks
George

See if you can get a better schematic here. Also information on parts.

Also try this one.
