Hello, I would like to use a power transformer in a old radio for an amplifier project. But the wires of transformer are very dry and break when I try to move them. Is there something to do to recover wires of transformer? Or I trow it to the junk??

Hi J-F

If it's only insulation that's brittle use shrink tubing. You can also strip house wiring and slide that insulation over transformer wires.
