Zenith identification

I have had great difficulty in obtaining a schematic for a bakelite, Zenith table-top wireless / record player. (It has a large aeroplane dial at the front, approx 8 inches in dia.).

The model no. is H581-T and the tube line-up is: 12BE6, 12BA6, 12AT6, 12J5, 50C5.

This has been in the family since the late 50's/early 60's and has only recently been re-discovered in the loft. It was acquired in France when new and as such is probably an export model.

I would be grateful for any assistance.

Thanks

Hi,
You describe something more like a six tube Zenith chassis. However, if a selenium rectifier were used, it would be a 5 tube chassis. The 6H02 Chassis, which is here on Nostalgia Air in the Rider's section is close, and may be close enough to work from if nothing else, but, look for an ink stamped number or embossed number on the chassis that formatted like the 6H02- Number letter number number. Some of the Zenith chassis were in use for a long time, and appear in Rider, and in Sams Photofacts.
