I have an old RCA Victor television in a mahogany colored cabinet with doors, very good to excellent condition. Model #21-CD-79750. Can you tell me what it is worth?

Kathy, I wondered if you got any info here? I found an old RCA Victor television model 21T179 in a dark cherry or mahogany cabinet with two sets of doors, upper for tv and lower for speaker, good condition, and want to find out what it's worth and where to sell it. If you had any luck please let me know. thanks vicki

Kathy: I have some questions:
1. How good is the cabinet - particularly on top.
2. Does this set work?
3. What is the chassis number? The model number on old RCA TV's referred to cabinet styling only. The chassis number usually was prefixed by the letters
KCS -??? I am guessing you have a KCS - 66 or 68.

If this set works and the cabinet is minty you could look to get somewhere in the $250 range. However, if it does not work, then the cost to repair it could be quite substantial and a no-win situation. I sold and serviced these and know their "quirks" which were numerous. Good luck with it.
