My question is simple: Is this speaker meant to be a match for the radio? I will be posting them in an online auction (you can probably guess which), & don't want to deceive anyone into believing they are a set if they aren't.
American Bosch did sell speakers to be used with early radios. Speakers were often sold as accessories. You may have a paper tag with name Bosh under the speaker? Their speakers looked similar to Peerless which you should be able to find on the internet.

:I just bought an American Bosch mdl. 28 at a local auction house. Also included from the same seller was a cathedral-shaped speaker with a rounded top. The speaker grille is round (8-7/8" outside trim, 7" inside trim). Both pieces are made of the same wood, same colored stain, & both with a blonde wood trimwork. The radio has the metal label inside with the typical info, but the speaker has no info/label outside anywhere. The speaker's dimensions are 10-7/8"w x 6-7/8"d x 12"h. Also, in front of the torn speaker cloth is wood fretwork trim (same dark wood) that resembles the pattern of a church window.
