Anyone know where I can find schematic, operating, or service manual for this? Thanks

You can try searching under the military designation ZM-30 or AN/URM-90. If that fails, I can try to remember where I put my ZM-30.

Thanks for the info..I tried to download the AN/URM-90 manual at BAMA but couldn't get it to download. How did you determine this was the manual? Also, what is a ZM-30..thanks for your help

The manual that came with mine says URM-90 (I don't have the manual in front of me, only a picture of it) and I once found an ad for the ESI 250 that looked just the same, so I presume ESI made the ZM-30/URM-90. ZM-30 would be the designation for the instrument itself, and URM-90 for the whole outfit: carrying case, manual, spare parts, whatever was included (I don't remember just what).

Would you sell me a copy of your manual? I can't get a copy to download from the BAMA site.

It's 111 pages with some foldouts, and a few pages have change sheets taped in, obscuring the original text. Copying it would be a big job, not to mention that the copy machine at work isn't very convenient to use. I could do a few pages. The change supplements are dated 1956 and 1961. I'm sure there are date codes on various internal parts, such as electrolytics and pots, and definitely on the tubes. I could copy either the 1956 or the 1961 schematic, depending which is likely to be closer to your model.

As you might guess, I don't read this board very often, but you can fix the email address and reply directly to adouglas at gis.net

JOE IF YOU STILL NEED A MANUAL GET ON THE INTERNET AND GO TO WWW.BIG-LIST.COM AND POKE AROUND THERE TILL YOU FIND "MANUAL DEALERS" AND JUST START CALLING AROUND. THE FOUR BIGGEST MANUAL DEALERS IN THE U.S ARE LEWS RESALE, MANUAL MERCHANT, MANUALS PLUS, AND ED MATSUDA. BY THE WAY THE ZM# WAS THE MILLITARY DESIGNATION FOR THAT UNIT, PERHAPS WITH SOME MINOR CHANGES.
