The volume control shaft on my GE model A-70 is broken off. In addition, this control does not appear to be original to the chassis. I would like to find a replacement. What are the specs for a correct replacement control? Was the original tapped?

The control is a 250K Ohm control with a tap at approximately the 55% to 60% position. Probably a 2 watt Unit.
