I HAVE A MAJESTIC RECEIVER AND ELECTRIC PHONOGRAPH BY
GRIGSBY GRUNOW CO. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND INFORMATION ON THE YEAR IT WAS MADE AND THE VALUE. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS IT HAS THE PARTS BUT NO PLUG IN. THE CABINET NEEDS TO BE REFINISHED. MODEL # 230-A

It was made in mid to late 1930. It's very unlikely to work without replacement of some capacitors and other parts. If the AC plug is missing that's a good thing, as it removes the temptation to "see if it works" and avoids the resulting damage.

Majestics are notoriously difficult to service and the value reflects that, even though this was a top-of-the-line model and probably cost someone several hundred dollars at a time when very few people had that kind of money to spend.
