:I have just became the owner of a Weston D. C. Ammeter, Model 45. This is the meter only. The original test leads and the External Shunts are no with the meter. Does anyone know of a source for the leads and shunts. Any inquiry is welcome.
Shunts have four terminals, two for the meter and two heavy ones for the external circuit. The type of wire used makes no difference at all, since very little current actually flows through the meter. You could probably find some reading material by searching under "Kelvin" shunt or similar terms.
