I am restoring a Philco 37-630. I have everything working but the shadow meter. I can't adjust the shadow to wider than about half an inch. I notice on the schematic that if the shadow meter is not installed it is replaced with a 1000 ohm resistor. The shadow meter coil measures 1500 ohms. Could that be the problem. Anybody got any ideas?
