What year is this radio and how rare are they? I would like to restore this myself but do not know where to start nor where to obtain any information?
Anyone out there that can help?
Thanks.

Hi Don

RCA C13-2 was made in 1935...Start with information available here on nostalgiaair:

http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Riders/RCA.htm

Replace the line cord if required and filter caps. These things should be done before turning the radio on.

Hi Don,
Norm has given some good advice to get you started. You might also want to check out the "Radio Beginner" section of "Phil's Old Radios" for some excellent tips for those new to radio restoration:

Hello Don,
I also have one of these consoles. I have yet to restore it but look forward to the work. If yours leaves you with any questions concerning finish or component layout I may be able to help. I can send digital photos of my relatively untouched set.
