I just picked up a Ward Movie Dial Radio from a friend, that doesnt have a case...The chassis is in great shape, all the tubes test good, and I think after replacing a few the caps, it'll work. I need to know where to hook the speaker up, as I dont have the original one with the plug..Could someone help me out? Also, does anyone know where I can find a picture of the case?

Your radio should have a model number. Once you know the number information should be available here:

Model number may also help locating a picture. MW sold different models of movie dial radios.

If you can list the number of tubes and pretty much what tubes it uses for the audio output (one 6F6 vs 2, or one 41 vs 2).
Additionally, the table tops shared the same chassis as the consoles.
There will also be a "Mallory Cell" under the chassis too, and rehydrating that will give you a good performer once the caps are addressed.
Do you have an electrodynamic replacement? Or are you going with a modern 8 ohm?

:Hi,
:There were probably close to two dozen different Airline movie dials, and not many are imaged. There were about four basic chassis' used.

Because each chassis was used in a group of radios, some used a larger speaker than others, but it has more to do with size selection at this point as far as ultimately which model they will be seeking.
But with that said, the hook up is easy as most moviedials used a plug in the back, but on a 62-313/314 there are two plugs. But two are the output from the output transformer, and two are for the field coil, but the 62-313/314 also requires different wiring than expected if the application used only one speaker.
As long as the chassis is reasonably clean, the tube types are stamped into the chassis beside each tube socket.
The key is to narrow the chassis type down, and the rest falls into place. I restored my chassis and selected a speaker without knowing model, and mine lacked the speaker and the paper slip inside the cabinet to help identify the model, but I had finished all work on the chassis by the time I found the correct chassis group. I also know well that not everyone has the resources I have, or that that the collective "we" in this group have, or had at the time I did that chassis, and I can appreciate well the amount of work it would take someone with less time, resources, or experience. Which is in no small reason why this forum exists as well as others, and please don't get the wrong idea, I am not trying to be snippy, just raising the point that not everyone is going to approach a radio project in the same manner as you do, or that I do, or the way Norm does, the key is to recognize that those differences exist.
:If you don't know how to hook up the speaker its doubtful that knowing which dials are imaged will be useful.
