I need 2 each .0005 microfarad @ 6000 volt caps for an old TV I am trying to get going. Anyone have any for sale or know where I can get them?

(I could also use 4each .005 microfarad @ 6kv but don't need them as bad as the ones listed above)

Hi,
You might try contacting some of the manufacturers, there is a list here:
http://www.awiz.com/caplinks.htm

Who knows? They might even send you a few production samples free of charge if you ask them right.

Sprague is likely the best bet.

Hi,
As a quick follow-up:
You could also try one of the authorized Sprague distributors, such as :
http://www.elecsupp.com/dbwu.php3

They do have a 25 dollar minimum order, but if they carry correct parts, that is not a tough thing at all.

Hi Joe

AES, tubesandmore.com , lists both 6000 & 10,000 volt capacitors in their catalog. Like John mentioned, they have a min order but it's $10.00.

Highest value listed is .0033 @ 6000 volts and .0025 at 10,000. You could use 2 - .0025 is parallel for your .005. They aren't expensive but you will meet the $10.00 min doing this.
