Use black braded fishing line. It's strong and doesn't streach. You can purchase dial cord from AES, tubesandmore.com but price will be higher.
Unless someone has a dial cord stringing diagram you may have to use trial & error.

:The thread for the tuner dial has rotted. Any tips on repairing? I should be able to get new thread to the approx right size but I am clueless as to how to wind it.
