The thread for the tuner dial has rotted. Any tips on repairing? I should be able to get new thread to the approx right size but I am clueless as to how to wind it.
Thanks Norm for the schematic. This baby is working good. I had to replace some rotted wires. Luckily there is no interfering hum.

Hi Scott

Use black braded fishing line. It's strong and doesn't streach. You can purchase dial cord from AES, tubesandmore.com but price will be higher.

Unless someone has a dial cord stringing diagram you may have to use trial & error.

Thanks again Norm for your tips. I fixed the dial cord this morning. Now all that is left is the needle for the phonograph.
