plastic material, where do you get a local replacement

Hello, I am still working on the unknown radio. It has a 6 inch round piece of plastic that is 1/16 thick or less. It is cracked and I need to replace it but dont know where to get it. It is behind the dial and is used to diffuse the dial lights. The tuning knob rubs the edge of it to tune the tuning condenser

Try a hobby shop or craft store. They usually sell sheets of plastic. A model train shop might actually be the best bet. Especially one that sells supplies for htosewho build stuff from scratch.
