Hi,
Many types were made, including a 2 volt version between about 1930 through about 1936. All have notable value, even just the chassis pairs.

Most are identified by the number of tubes used. "Allwave 23" had 23 tubes, etc.

Sounds like an Allwave 23. The chassis alone can bring $500+ on ebay - not that one should ever separate them from their cabinet in the first place, but a lot of these were sold as bare chassis because the buyers liked the looks. They were also put in various cabinets.

Do a search on EH Scott and also see the newsgroup rec.antiques.radio+phono which is archived here:

You can search the archives for "Scott" or "Allwave" and find some discussions.

Fantastic radio! Do repair and preserve it, it's a piece of history. If you haven't replaced the old capacitors, do that before trying to run it, so you don't burn up other components. Enjoy!
