Grundig 1088 Cap life on the cream paper coated?

What is the normal cap life on the little cream paper covered caps in the more modern Grundig sets from the late 50's/60's. I replaced the filter caps already. I know it's common procedure to do a complete replacement on the older 30's sets of other manufacturers radios with the Wax yellow caps, however would that be necessary on the newer Grundigs? Or should I just measure + replace the bad ones? Thanx Brian

Hi,

Grundigs are pretty safe to just check/measure and replace as needed, but I am not sure when they went to styrene or polyester types.

Grundig never went real cheap.
