I was wondering if anyone can help me find out information about a radio that belonged to my great, great aunt. It's a Dominion Electrohome Industries, Viking Model No. 50-47, serial 358741. Any information about this model would be helpful!

I have checked the listings of Canadain radios and cannot find this model number. Are there any other numbers on the radio? It may be a 1950 model made for Eaton's department stores.

christine, I have the exact same radio I'm restoring right now... a Viking 50-47 floor standing model, it works quite well it was my Gramps radio... if you have any questions about your radio maybe you can e-mail me and we can exchange info... there is very little info for canadian models on the internet,... does yours work?

I have a similar Radio serial 273234. I believe it to be original to our family and pre 1950.
